Mathis (as in Johnny Mathis) is a 9 week old Newfie mix puppy that is big and rangy and robust.  He loves everyone, especially one of our volunteers who you will see cuddling him in these photos.  He eats well and sleeps like a champ.  He loves to play with his littermates and shares toys.  Mathis does his best to wait to potty outside which is quite remarkable for a puppy this young.  As to what combination of breeds this little guy may actually be, it is difficult to say.  But I bet you will adore him!

All of Mathis's vet care is on us.  As he becomes old enough for additional vaccines and to be neutered, we will be in touch and pay for it all to be done at the veterinary clinic of your choice.  BUT, it will be done.  PERIOD.

From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process.
