Daisy Nugget is a 5-year-old spayed female purebred English Shepherd.  She has the classic Irish white collar and legs that are typical of her breed.  Daisy is housebroken and is used to potty breaks every four hours or so.  Her heart-warming smile is flashed at you when she wants some lovin' or is ready for her next adventure.  She shows her level of excitement and focus by walking or spinning in circles which could make her a Dancing Dog candidate (look up Canine Freestyle).  She is extremely sensitive to your emotional state and lives to keep you happy.  She is smart, loyal and compliant when she claims you as part of her family.  She met a 10-year-old boy recently and wanted to climb in his pocket.  Lovely!

Sweet Daisy is 57# and should drop down to about 50#.  But I would never tell her she is chubby.  It would break her sensitive heart.  She is UTD with her vaccines and microchipped with a Home Again.  Heartworm negative and blood chemistries and CBC all normal.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us.
