"Kalli O'Dog" is a Sheltie with a great deal of wisdom and experience.  She is a spayed female, nine years old and extremely healthy.  Kalli likes many things including other dogs (particularly if they are her size or smaller), cats, well-behaved children, walks, riding in the car and being a little princess in doggie form.  Her family's circumstances have changed and Kalli will be interviewing enlightened humans to share the rest of her life with.

In many ways, Kalli O is a typical Shetland Sheepdog.  She is friendly and enthusiastic.  Watch her spin and make her tags jingle!  She has lovely manners and happily rolls on her back for a belly rub for as long as a human will rub, especially her chosen person.  Her only fear is thunderstorms and that can be partially alleviated with an herbal preparation, a Thundershirt and a cuddle.

Weighing in at 28#, Kalli O keeps herself fit with a holistic, grain-free dogfood twice a day.  Her teeth have been recently cleaned and her grooming is meticulous.  Any family would be lucky to have Kalli O join them.  And she will be appreciative.

From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process.
