Kassie (Signature Kassie, the Princess) is an exceptional little Collie.  At only 40 pounds, she is what we laughingly call a "pocket Collie."

Kassie is small enough to tuck in your pocket and take along with you wherever you go.  And you will want to take her along everywhere because Kassie is a Certified Therapy Dog with TDI, one of the best known sanctioning groups for Therapy Dogs.  She was the runt of her littler and has shorter legs than the breed standard, but please don't ever tell her she is not perfect.  She has a huge, very-long light sable and white Collie coat that is enough for two dogs.  And she is a joyous little dog, always up for the next adventure.

Kassie has had a great life so far and wants it to continue.  Please carefully consider whether you can fulfill her expectations.  She is microchipped and up to date on vaccines.  She has always eaten a carefully chosen holistic diet.  And she would love to sleep up on your bed and cuddle all night long.  Wouldn't they all?!

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our  Adoption Policies  and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online  Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email.  You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
