If you've ever dreamt about having a big beautiful dog to cuddle up next to... perhaps your dream dog... we have him. His name is Fred and he is "out of this world" beautiful. Just 16 months old, and happy as a lark, he has plenty of love to give and energy to burn. He's breathtakingly gorgeous, smart as a whip, and owns the absolute sweetest disposition.

Most significantly, Fred has never been abused. Having been raised in a loving home, he is as happy as can be. He is a big boy, a gentle giant. He weighs just 75 pounds. He loves canine companionship, so it would be best if he had a couple big friends to play with. He's current on all vaccines, including a new 3 year rabies tag. His blood panel is perfect, his teeth are the whitest I've seen, he is heartworm negative, and he's microchipped. Freddie is good with kids who are 6 years and older; toddlers might be overwhelmed by his size. Cats are an unknown, but my best guess would be that he is okay with them too. He loves to go on walks, but will need to be taught proper leash etiquette. He will also need reinforcement with basic commands.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
